Every time I traveled to Hungary I’ve managed to buy some paprika to bring back home. With all of this paprika, I of course need recipes to use it in. One of these is a great recipe for chicken paprikash with dumplings. The chicken part of the recipe is fairly easy and the dumpling part is a little more work, but well worth it.


Chicken
3 lbs chicken breast, boneless and skinless
1 large onion diced
1 can diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp Hungarian paprika

Dumplings
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp powdered garlic
1 tbsp Hungarian paprika

To Finish
1 pint sour cream
