My Best Bread
The Story
I've been optimizing my no-knead bread recipe for some time.

The Ingredients
  Dry
  • 3 cups King Arthur bread flour
  • 2 tbsp diastatic malt
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp dough conditioner
  • 3/4 tsp salt
Wet
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

The Preparation
In separate bowls, mix the dry ingredients and wet ingredients. Warm the wet ingredients in the microwave on high for 30 secs.

The Bake
Preheat the oven to 400F.

Some Notes
I used King Arthur bread flour for this as well as other bread flours.

The Consumption
This artisanal bread offers exquisite flavor and texture, whether layered into a refined sandwich, paired with rich butter or velvety hummus, lightly toasted to perfection, or savored in its pure, rustic form.
